Ethical Aspects of Sterilization of Persons Permanently Incapable of Discernment

On the occasion of its annual retreat, to be held this year in Bellinzona, the National Advisory Commission on Biomedical Ethics (NCE) invites you to a public event on the topic of sterilization of persons permanently incapable of discernment - a subject on which the commission is currently working.
Dr. Sofia Balzaretti, lawyer at the Federal Office for Equality for People with Disabilities, will give a talk, followed by a round table discussion with Prof. Samia Hurst-Majno, ethicist at the University of Geneva and member of the NCE, Donatella Oggier Fusi, pedagogue at SUPSI DEASS, atgabbes and Dr. Simone Romagnoli, ethicist at HETS Geneva and also member of the NCE.
The round table will be followed by drinks.
The event will be held in Italian, but German interpretation will be available.
Admission is free. No registration necessary.
